Alloy 200 is an excellent grade which is manufactured using high quality material and elements. These bolts are commonly used for high heat applications. Nickel 200 bolts are commonly used for aerospace applications, as the grade includes high amount of nickel content in it. Nickel 200 bolts are highly efficient and effective for hot and cold temperature applications.
Nickel 200 alloy is also known as UNS N02200. This grade provides excellent resistance from various chemical reactions. Nickel 200 provides excellent protection from caustic acids, chloride environment and sulfur attacks. These ASTM F2281 UNS N02200 Bolts also provides excellent protection from various corrosion, crevice corrosion and stress cracking. The grade provides excellent resistance from oxidizing agents and reduction.
The grade nickel 200 includes high amount of nickel which is approximately 99% of the overall share. Nickel is a very strong elements that provides excellent strength and ductility. The tensile strength of the grade is 67000 psi, i.e: 462 Mpa; whereas the yield strength of these bolts is 21500 psi, i.e: 148Mpa.
