HASTELLOY nuts is considered as superalloys, and the base element in this alloy is nickel. These nuts are known for their property of being resistant to corrosion. Along with being resistant to corrosion, these provide resistance towards thermal creep deformation. The Nuts also have excellent mechanical properties. In reducing environments, these Nuts are very durable in nature.
The Hastelloy Nuts also have the characteristics of good surface stability. In Hastelloy, the addition of chromium improves the resistance towards oxidation. The low carbon content in its composition guarantees that grain boundary carbide precipitation is kept to a minimum. Hastelloy C22 Nuts are Nuts that are made up of an alloy composed of chromium, nickel in their chemical composition. Molybdenum and tungsten are also present in the combination. These offer improved resistance to corrosion and its related damages.
Hastelloy C276 Nuts are widely used in chemical process applications in an as-welded condition. Hastelloy B2 Nuts are noted for their high corrosion resistance in reducing atmospheres. These environments could be subjected to hydrogen chloride gas, as well as acidic mediums such as sulfuric acids, acetic acids, as well as phosphoric acids.
Hastelloy B3 Nuts are used in applications such as chemical processes, pulp, and paper industries, etc. Hastelloy X Nuts provides resistance towards oxidation as well as high-temperature strength. They also have the characteristics of fabricability.
