These Super Duplex Steel Bolts are of ferritic as well as austenitic nature. Both the ferritic and austenitic content are almost equal in the chemical composition of the alloy. These Super Duplex Steel Bolts are resistant to corrosion-related problems such as corrosion pitting and corrosion cracking. And in doing so, they are better than the other fasteners available. One of the best characteristics that these Super Duplex Steel Bolts have is weldability as well as ductility.
The Duplex 2205, as well as Super Duplex 2507, also have very good yield strength, which is two times better than that of the austenitic stainless steel. These Super Duplex Steel Bolts should be used in applications where the temperature is less than 570 degrees Fahrenheit. Because if the temperature exceeds the given temperature then it might eventually lead to embrittlement.
These Super Duplex Steel Bolts have excellent mechanical as well as physical properties such as excellent tensile strength, good resistance towards corrosion, great yield strength, and so on. These Super Duplex Steel Bolts also undergo a series of tests to test and improve their quality so that high-quality products are manufactured. These tests include various corrosion related tests, chemical tests, tensile strength tests, etc.
Because of all the properties that these Super Duplex Steel Bolts have they are used in a wide range of industrial applications such as the oil and gas industries, chemical processing, marine industries, etc.
